Which video card do i get?

i have a dell vostro 200, windows xp, Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E4500 @ 2.20GHz, 1gb ram and 128mb video card.



i only have one video card and i want to add another screen so that it should be an extention to my screen that i have now. does it matter which video card i get or can i just use a "vga y"?|||Your current video card should have 2 video ports on the back. Just buy another monitor.



If it doesn't then any video card that fits your PC should work and come with 2 vga/dvi ports.|||will if u just want to get anoter screen get a screen spliter, it gives u two screen and it only like 20 bucks, or u could get a 9500Gt with is like 80-100 bucks and do that
