my computer is oldish. i was thinking of up grading it but i'm not sure the games will work. i was thinking even though my procesor is slower than the newer games say is required, if i got alot of ram and a huge video card would it play anyways with slow load times? like lets say for example a game says 3 gh proccesor is required with 128mb video card and 512mb. but my computer is 2.4gh proccesor but i have a 1gig video card and two gigs of ram|||for the processor, don't worry about it. if you have a 2.4ghz you're fine. i have a 1.7ghz and playing crysis on lowest. now abotu the ram. upgrade to a minimum of 2gig.
the video card is a little complicated. first, cards have bus widths. 128 bit width, only use up to 256mb video ram. 256bit, 512 ram.
i would recommend dumping almost all your money into a video card and spend 10 bucks to upgrade a gig more ram.
