Dell Inspiron 8600. Is it worth it to upgrade the 32mb video card to a 128mb card? Which should I get?

I love my Dell Inspiron 8600 laptop that I've had for almost 7 years now. It still runs like a champ. Super quiet, fast, and still gets 8+ hours on a fresh set of batteries (this model allows you to swap out the DVD drive with a second battery). Anyways, I have been thinking of upgrading my video card. Currently I have the standard 32mb Geforce card and am aware of an ATI 128mb card and another Geforce 128mb card. Specifically the " ATI 128MB Video Card Radeon 9600 Series " and the " 128MB Video Card GeForce FX Go5650 ". I'm wondering if the 100 bucks will be worth the upgrade. My goal is to be able to watch full screen streaming video at 480p without it being choppy--and to be able to watch it on an external monitor. My other specs include a 1.5ghz Pentium M and 2gb Ram. Also, if anyone on this thread has any upgrade ideas for an Inspiron 8600 I'd love to hear them.|||you cannot upgrade the video card

laptops are built with the video card soldered to the motherboard.

only very high end laptops like alienware can have the video card removed, but there is no selection, you can only replace it with whatever else alienware offers because its so proprietary.

besides, your laptop is so old that even if your laptop did have the ability to swap video cards, you would NEVER find a compatible one because dell makes them in such limited quantity.

basically, no, you cannot upgrade. you also have a pentium M cpu. your computer is OLD, thats just a fact. if your happy, then enjoy it. if your not, well, your going to need a new laptop soon, thats for sure
